Peggy spends most of her time trying to manage a home garden that is much too large and threatens to consume her life. On rainy days she writes or works on PowerPoint presentations. In addition to talking about gardening, she also speaks about how to add humor.

Peggy speaks on a wide range of topics. With an extensive collection of beautiful pictures from her garden, as well as the gardens she has visited, she can custom create the perfect program for your group.

Recent presentations include:

Contain Your Wild Side - Container Gardening with Native Plants

This Powerpoint presentation/demonstration begins with an overview of container gardening basics. Then Peggy briefly discusses the importance of native plants. Finally, she shows pictures of her containers, planted with natives, and how they grew throughout several seasons.

What is a sanctuary garden, and how can you create your own garden retreat? Peggy will give you a list of five things every sanctuary garden needs, followed by examples of different sanctuary gardens. Enjoy pictures from the glorious gardens that Peggy has visited. See photos of the Maine Botanical Garden, gardens from the Buffalo Garden Walk, and many more.

We loved her visit with us!

Lisa Maples from Muscle Shoals - 07/06/2020 18:20:29

Peggy came to our monthly Master Garden meeting in June. We loved her presentation. She was both educational and entertaining. Despite having to have the meeting outdoors, Peggy worked with us and marshalled on like a trouper. She has since been in contact with those of us that had follow up questions, sharing her knowledge generously. I hope we are able to keep in contact with Peggy. She is a delight.
