ED LYON'S LECTURE

SUSAN STRECKER from WISCONSIN - 03/03/2012 16:23:54

Last Wednesday, the 29th of March, Edward Lyon braved bad weather and worse traffic to travel to Milwaukee to speak at Villa Terrace on the subject of The Missed Middle Landscape. It was a splendid presentation, a worthy successor to those wonderful
programs of Edward Hasselkus. We look forward to his next; "The Wicked Plants". Those that he has recommended previously have behaved themselves dutifully, but we will not flinch from what is to come. We thank him sincerely for a wonderful evening.

I Learned, I Laughed

Mark Konlock from Green Bay, WI - 09/12/2011 20:07:02

I’ve had the privilege to hear many speakers in my short 7 year horticulture career, and Ed is one of the best. I’ve always learned something, laughed, (cried, just kidding!) and came to further appreciate the wonderful world of horticulture. It seems that whether the audience is experts, or new to gardening they appreciate Ed’s advice. At Green Bay Botanical Garden we’ve been so impressed with Ed we’ve had him speak to our Garden Angel group, and also booked him for our Spring Thaw Symposium. I highly recommend you have him at your next event!

Awesome Presenter

Bill Hoernke from WI - 09/01/2011 15:52:51

I have attended several of Ed's presentations. He has great photos that he's taken himself the move his presentation along. One of my favorite presentations from Ed Lyon was the one where he compared real life specimens to the one's you see in the catalogs. Wow! What a great job!

I always enjoy seeing Ed speak at garden clubs. He's so knowledgeable and does a great job at answering questions. He has great experience from working at some awesome public gardens in the midwest.
