Very informative

Linda Schwartz from Annandale, VA - 04/03/2017 17:11:51

I thought Kathy was very informative. I've tried to grow veggies in containers without the kind of success I'd like. But I am going to take her tips and use them this year and keep my fingers crossed.

A fun, information-filled talk

Eddie Chang from Silver Spring, MD - 03/09/2017 19:11:47

Kathy recently gave a well-attended talk to our garden club on how to grow edibles through the 'cool' seasons. There must have been some very dedicated edibles gardeners in the audience because the talk was quite lively, with many questions thrown out at Kathy. Impressively, there was not one question to which she was not familiar, even if the topic was only tangentially connected to the current slide. Kathy was both able to handle the multiple questions and still go over all her intended slides, and finish on time--quite a remarkable performance!

Getting Your Garden Ready for Spring

Brenda Soares from Ashburn, Virginia 20147 - 03/05/2017 16:29:27

Excellent presentation with take home SKA's to do now. For example use "grey water" for shrubs planted last year due to our winter drought. Kathy's handout will guide me to grow vegetables, flowers for three seasons. Her lecture was beyond and above my expectation.
