Wendy Kiang-Spray is a freelance writer.  Her articles and photography have appeared in Heirloom Gardener, Kiki Magazine, Washington Gardener, and www.gardenguides.com.  She blogs about family and gardening at www.greenishthumb.net and about Asian vegetables at www.wendykiangspray.com. In her free time, Kiang-Spray volunteers with the DC Master Gardeners.

Wendy Kiang-Spray is a dynamic and passionate speaker and enjoys sharing her knowledge of growing Chinese vegetables.  With a strong interest in food and culture, Kiang-Spray looks for opportunities to demonstrate how to use Chinese vegetables in the kitchen as well.  As a gardener who bridges two cultures, historical perspective is important to her and she keeps presentations both informative and accessible to audiences.  Her book The Chinese Kitchen Garden will be published by Timber Press in February 2017.

Wendy Kiang-Spray gave a terrific presentation yesterday at the Library of Congress. It was her third program at the Library. Like her earlier presentations, this week's was standing-room-only. Very nice!

Wendy's talk last week at the Library of Congress on food preservation techniques was concise and through. Excellent!
